Whether you’ve already made your pledge, or still thinking about it, you may be wondering how T Levels work from pledge to placement.

We’ve put together this simple guide to take you through the process, and what support is available at every stage.

1. Pledge: Once you’ve explored our resources, read first-hand experiences from Greater Manchester employers, or attended one of our webinars, the next step is to pledge your support for T Levels. Make your pledge here.

2. Preparation: Prepare your business by understanding the requirements. Once you make a pledge, you can expect a call within 10 working days to discuss your placement including any practical concerns like working patterns, H&S risk assessments and safeguarding.

3. Match: Once matched with a college they’ll work with you to identify the best student for your business. 

4. Placement: Have a clear induction process and make students feel welcome. Ensure they understand their role and responsibilities. We’ll help you prepare every step of the way!

5. Success: Over 50% of T Level placements end up progressing with their employer and go on to further training.
